Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Prop Firm Authority (“PFA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of propfirmauthority.com (the “Site”). By creating an account, using our free Trading Journal or tools, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will post any material change prominently on the Site and, where you have an account, notify you by email.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you are between 16 and 18, or otherwise a minor, you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. By using the Site, you confirm you are old enough and competent to do so.

3. Our role

PFA is an independent information and review service. We publish editorial comparisons, pricing tables, and reference material about third-party prop trading firms. We are not a broker, dealer, fund, investment adviser, or financial services provider. We do not manage money, execute trades, offer trading accounts, or accept deposits on behalf of any user.

Nothing on the Site constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, or an offer or solicitation to enter into any transaction. Trading futures, forex, and crypto involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and for complying with the rules of any jurisdiction where you live.

Our editorial output — including firm ratings, comparison tables, tier breakdowns, and review scores — is editorial opinion, not a factual guarantee. It may change as firm terms change. We correct errors when we find them, but we cannot warrant that all information is complete or current at the moment you read it.

4. Proprietary trading firm relationships

Many firms we feature are affiliate partners of PFA. Our Disclosure explains how we are compensated. Affiliate status does not influence our ratings, scoring, or which firms we cover. We apply the same editorial standard to every firm, whether or not we earn a commission.

When you click a “Get Started,” “Get Deal,” or similar link and complete a purchase with a prop firm, your contract is with that firm — not with PFA. The firm’s own terms, evaluation rules, refund policy, and payout terms govern that relationship. PFA is not a party to that contract, cannot guarantee a firm’s approval decision, payout, or refund, and has no authority to change a firm’s terms.

5. Accounts

Some features — such as the Trading Journal and the Firm Quiz — require an account. You agree to:

• provide accurate, current information and keep it updated;
• keep your password confidential and not share your account with others;
• be responsible for all activity under your account;
• notify us promptly at our contact page of any unauthorised use.

You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account. We may suspend or terminate any account, without notice, that breaches these Terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or where required by law. You may close your account at any time, and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Licence to use the Site

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your own informational and personal use. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the Site without written permission;
• use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect data or overload the Site, except standard search-engine crawlers;
• reproduce our editorial content — reviews, tables, scores, images, or branding — in a way that suggests we endorse a product or firm;
• remove or obscure copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;
• misrepresent your identity, or impersonate PFA, a prop firm, or another user;
• transmit malware, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

All content on the Site — text, tables, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by PFA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Editorial content may be quoted with clear attribution and a link to the original page.

7. Trading Journal and other user-generated content

Where we provide a tool for you to record notes, trades, or results (including the Trading Journal), you keep ownership of what you enter and grant us a limited licence to host, store, and display it in order to operate the feature. You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and for any trading decisions based on them. Journal data can be lost due to outages, deletions, or account closure; we do not warrant that it is a complete or reliable record of your trading.

If you post comments or other public content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish it on the Site, and you confirm you have the right to post it. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, spammy, or violates these Terms.

8. Third-party links and content

The Site links to external websites, including prop firm sites, social platforms, and economic calendars. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, availability, or accuracy, and a link does not imply endorsement. Your use of any third-party site is governed by its own terms. Trading platform, calendar, and market data displayed on the Site is provided by third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated, the Site and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, that any information will be accurate or up to date, or that any firm comparison is complete or exhaustive.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PFA and its team, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, trading profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes losses arising from trading decisions made in reliance on Site content, from a prop firm’s actions or decisions, or from any affiliate relationship.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PFA, its founders, editors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

12. Advertising and promo codes

The Site displays third-party advertising and affiliate offers, including discount codes. Offers are subject to the prop firm’s terms, including eligibility, expiry, and exclusions. We are not responsible for how a firm honours a code. Advertising and sponsored placements are clearly identified and do not influence our firm ratings, scores, or comparison tables.

13. Intellectual property disputes

Company names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners. PFA does not claim ownership of firm names or logos; their appearance indicates review or reference, not endorsement or affiliation. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review the claim promptly.

14. Corrections to information

We strive for accuracy in the information we publish. If you believe a review, table, or figure is inaccurate, please tell us through the Contact page and we will investigate and correct it. Our obligation is to correct information we control; we cannot change a prop firm’s terms or policies on your behalf.

15. Trading losses

You acknowledge that PFA does not manage, advise on, or execute any trading on your behalf, and that any trading loss you incur with a prop firm is between you and that firm. PFA is not liable for such losses, except where a loss results from PFA’s own fraud or wilful misconduct.

16. Suspension and termination

We may, at our discretion, limit, suspend, or terminate access to the Site or any feature, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Site, other users, or a prop firm from abuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions — survive.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our rights. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.

18. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and the invalid provision will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

19. Changes to the Site

We may add, modify, or discontinue any feature, page, or tool, and may change pricing or availability of partner offers, at any time without notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Site.
