Disclosure

Prop Firm Authority (“PFA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) earns money when some of the readers of our reviews buy a trading evaluation from a firm we link to. This page explains exactly how that works, so you can weigh our content with full knowledge of how we are paid.

The short version

  • Some, but not all, of our outbound links are affiliate links.
  • If you buy an evaluation through one of those links, the firm pays us a commission — typically a share of your first payment.
  • You pay exactly the same price either way. Affiliate status never changes what you pay.
  • Our ratings, scores, rankings, and inclusion decisions do not depend on commission.
  • We label promo codes and sponsored placements, and we never fabricate performance claims on a firm’s behalf.

How Affiliate Links Work

When you click a “Get Started,” “Get Deal,” “View Plans,” or similar button on our Site, a small tracking code may be added to the destination URL. If you then buy a challenge or evaluation, the firm can tell it came from us and pays us a referral commission. The commission is a business-to-business payment between the firm and PFA. It does not change the price on your checkout page, and we do not add any fee of our own.On the live site, affiliate links are those to prop firm domains. Where a firm’s own referral code is part of the offer, we list it plainly (for example, “use code X”) so you can see exactly what you are activating.

How The Money is Used

Commission funds editorial work: researching firms, checking payout evidence, keeping pricing tables current, and running the site. It is not used to buy placement, and it does not buy favourable reviews. When a firm becomes an affiliate partner after we have already reviewed it, the review is not retroactively edited to be more positive. If a firm stops paying us, the review stays as it is.

Our Editorial Independence

We want to be explicit about the line between money and opinion:

  • Ratings are not for sale. A firm cannot pay to raise its score or change its ranking.
  • We compare firms we do not earn from. Our review, price-card, and comparison sections include firms with whom we have no affiliate relationship.
  • Negative findings stay. If we flag a firm’s drawdown, payout, or rule change, we do not remove the flag because the firm is an affiliate.
  • Scores are based on published criteria — fees, drawdown, profit targets, payout split and speed, platform support, and rule clarity — applied consistently across every firm.

Advertising

The Site may display third-party advertising, clearly labelled as “Ad.” Sponsored content, if any, is labelled as sponsored at the top of the article and reflects the sponsor’s claims, not our independent assessment. Advertising never alters our ratings or comparison tables, and readers can distinguish ad content from our editorial content at a glance.

Promo Codes and Deals

Discount codes shown on our Site are supplied by the firm and are subject to that firm’s terms — including eligibility, expiry date, account limits, and exclusions. We pass the code on as provided and do not control how a firm honours it. If a code does not work, please raise it with the firm; we will also update or remove the code from our Site when we are told it has lapsed.

Vendor Data Accuracy

Firm plans, fees, and rules change frequently. We verify pricing and terms against each firm’s own materials at the time of writing and update them as we learn of changes, but we cannot guarantee that a firm’s terms match this page at every moment. Always confirm the current terms on the firm’s own website before you buy. If you find a discrepancy, please tell us so we can correct it.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not accept payment to write or edit a review.
  • We do not accept payment to remove a criticism or a negative rating.
  • We do not fabricate testimonials, payout evidence, or student results.
  • We do not misrepresent the cost, rules, or eligibility of any firm’s offer.

Our Relationship With The Firms

PFA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any prop firm we mention, other than as a disclosed affiliate for the specific links marked as such. Firm names and logos are the property of their owners and are used for identification and review only.PFA is not a broker, fund, or investment adviser. We do not manage money, execute trades, or hold client funds. Any account you open is between you and the firm, under that firm’s own terms — see our Terms & Conditions.

Questions

If you want to know whether a specific link is an affiliate link, whether we have a commercial relationship with a specific firm, or how a given review was scored, ask us through the Contact page and we will answer directly. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
